Rhode Island enjoys a temperate climate, with full manifestation of all four seasons. The warmest months of the year are April through October. Near the end of May, 70 degree temperatures become common, reaching into the 80s and occasionally the 90s during June, July and August.  Temperatures begin to fall off again in mid-September at the onset of the colorful fall foliage season, which lasts through early November.  In September, average daily afternoon temperatures are 70's to 80's and average daily evening temperatures are 50's to 60's .
